Live and Location Recording
Would you like to have a great recording of your live show or rehearsal? Instead of coming to my studio, I can bring my studio to you. This is the perfect solution for musicians looking to capture that "real sound." Many players are more comfortable in their own environment than in a recording studio. It can also save a few bucks and you don't have to lug your gear to my studio.

Live Recording
The process is much the same as recording in my studio; each instrument is recorded on separate tracks using Pro Tools. I use at least one microphone for each instrument and eight or more mics for drums! Even your adoring fans are part of the recording. Multitracking, unlike stereo live recording, allows for a great deal of flexibility. So when it comes time to mixing down the tracks, there is total control over the levels and sound of every instrument, just like with a regular studio recording.
PA Sound
In addition to recording your live show, in smaller clubs I can even run your sound system or bring a small PA of my own.
Location Recording
This is similar to live recording. If you like the sound at your rehearsal space, basement or campfire, there's no reason to record anywhere else. Let's record right there!
The Process
Live and location recording is a two stage process; first we do the acutal recording on location, then at a later date, the tracks are mixed and mastered at my studio. You can even fix mistakes or play overdubs in the studio.
Live Album
Recording a live album can be a cost effective way to make a record. Recording this way often takes less time than in the studio. Mixing and mastering usually go faster as well, because the sounds and levels tend to be similar from song to song.
