Recording
The best recordings start in a room with great acoustics. I took special care to build this studio with the proper dimensions and materials proven to enhance sound.
The studio has non-parallel walls, bass traps, absorbers and diffusers. All these elements control reflections and undesirable frequencies, while maintaining a natural ambience. There is plenty of real wood (as opposed to laminate, etc.) throughout the rooms. Which is another trademark of a professional studio and makes for a warm, natural sound.
I use Pro Tools for recording and mixing and have lots of cool sounding plug-ins, including many from Waves. The signal chain contains top notch mic preamps and analog to digital converters. Of course, premium microphones are a must. My "go to" mic brands are Neumann, Shure, Rode, Avantone and more.
